Biography
Christoph Nienaber is a consultant cardiologist at Royal Brompton Hospital. His role sees him consult with the patients and their families who have aortic conditions, to help provide the best treatment option. Professor Nienaber is a certified internist, cardiologist and interventional cardiovascular specialist with significant experience in advanced cardiovascular care. He started his academic career at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, then undertaking a temporary post at UCLA School of Medicine. From there he chaired internal medicine and cardiology at Universitätsmedizin Rostock until May 2015 when he joined the team at Royal Brompton Hospital, London.

heart disease, including transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), left-atrial appendage occlusion, thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR), atrial septal defect II-occlusion, patent foramen ovale, and non-surgical management of aortic coarctation and malformations.
